Greta Magnusson Grossman – A Car and Some Shorts

R 20th Century is please to announce that for the first time the Swedish-American designer and architect Greta Magnusson Grossman is presented in a large retrospective exhibition at the Arkitekturmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden.

ARKITEKTURMUSEET, STOCKHOLM

The exhibition opens Wednesday, February 10, with a lecture at 5:30 pm by Andrea Codrington, a New York-based design writer, who has written the book that accompanies the exhibition.

Grossman is celebrated for the unique approach to Swedish modernism that she brought with her when she moved from Stockholm to Los Angeles in the late 1930s.

R 20th Century is please to announce that this retrospective exhibition on the Swedish-American designer and architect Greta Magnusson Grossman is traveling to the Price Tower Arts Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Grossman is celebrated for the unique approach to Swedish modernism that she brought with her when she moved from Stockholm to Los Angeles in the late 1930s.

The exhibition, which originated at the Arkitekturmuseet in Stockholm, Sweden, opens on January 20, with a gala reception on January 28, and runs through May 6, 2012.
