Named after Michael Bassett, the New York attorney who commissioned the design, this dining table because Tayar’s first foray into producing limited-edition furniture. However, only three examples were produced. “Michael’s Table” was included in R & Company’s Spring 2017 retrospective of the late architect and designer, “Ali Tayar: Systems & One-Offs.”
